5th YMAA South America Summer Meeting – CHILE
18 to 26 February 2017
In its fifth version, our great Summer Meeting of YMAA South America schools will be held between Saturday 18 and Sunday, February 26, 2017 (8 nights accommodation / 7 days of activities) at the Centro Punto Zero in San Felipe, -chords of the Andes to an hour and a half to the east of Santiago.
This 7-day activity will include 6 days of deep Chikung and Taichi Chuan practices, plus an intermediate day called Newendao Day, where activities related to Newendao will be experienced; Our project that seeks to integrate the ancestral arts of life with the modern world that we live.
The teaching will be organized by levels (beginners, intermediate and advanced) and will include Taichi, Sword, Hand Thrust, Yin / Yang Symbol and Centering hands practices and will be led and taught by Dr. Yang Jwing-Ming , Nicholas Yang, Jonathan Chang and Daniel Chadud.
With great joy, we invite you to the 5th YMAA South America Summer Meeting, to be held at the Punto Zero Center in San Felipe, Chile between Saturday 18 (check-in) and Sunday 26 (check-out) in February 2017 (8 nights / 7 days). This center has dream conditions for the practice of Chikung and Taichi, in a natural environment in the pre-Cordillera, an hour and a half east of Santiago.
With attendees from various schools in South America; Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador and Venezuela, this year we will have an innovative and innovative system of Chikung and Taichi practice, in an ideal environment for deep learning, as well as sharing in a pleasant environment made up of the extraordinary human group that we have formed in this years. Definitely an unforgettable experience!
This innovative 7 day internship program features:
-3 days of intensive full-time training (Feb 19-21) to introduce foundations and the basis of these practices
-1 day of rest (February 22) in which we will celebrate the Newendao Day, where we will experience activities related to Newendao, our project that seeks to integrate the ancestral arts of life with the modern world.
-3 days of practice (Feb 23-25) where you will work more in the forms and will focus on digesting what has been learned, to fix the knowledge acquired.
The idea is that this Encounter is a powerful impetus to the periodic practice that is done in the Schools of each country, reason why the quality of the teaching will be the priority.
